TomTom Navigator 7 - Saving a pre-defined route?

Running TomTom Navigator 7 on my Navigo.

I use my SatNav when driving to Uni, however I dislike it's "fastest route" and so I "avoid part of route" on two of the roads. It's a pain to keep doing this every time - is there any way I can save the route so I just "load" it and i'm done?

I could save a few waypoints in an itinerary, but I only use my SatNav to give me an estimated arrival time, which would break it.

Any suggestions?
