Hi all
Due to the recent Surrey Run's "forest stage" I may need a new screen. Can some advise me on the procedure - just call the insurer's preferred screen co. up and quote Noble or what?
How well do the fitters fit them in and, are they hard to locate (the screens and good fitters!)? Thanks.[/footnote]

From what I've read on here in the past it's the same procedure for any other car. Don't think there has been a problem in supplying the Noble part in the past and if there aren't any available and you can't wait for a Noble logo'd screen, I believe the screen is from a Lotus Elan IIRC.

Hmmm, so can I tell Autoglass to get me a Noble screen versus a Lotus one then? 
What's the difference - just the logo etching?
Yup mine cracked. Just tell the insurers and they can get them.
Auto Glass have them in stock so do National. I just got mine replaced a couple of weeks ago.
I think I might go back to my insurers though as I am not happy with the finish. At the corners the seals have pinched up and are not flat and smooth.
The windscreen guy told me (or rather conned me) that they would shrink and smooth out over time and in the sun light. But obviously they haven't.

If its any help Mole Valley keep them in stock and will fit them you need to advise the insurers its a specialist car and they will agree the cost as its less aggro for them if there was a prob by out sourcing it. just about to get mine done, only pain is you have to leave it there over night. No not Warren. i was told they have a couple of experienced windscreen fitters who have done many Nobles and other specialist cars who will do the job on site at mole valley. speak to John Haywood.I only mentioned it as i have just put my insurance claim in and wanted some one who had done the job correctly before was safest option for me.
