Raceline RL7s

Anyone know where I can get hold of a spare set of Raceline RL7s? done loads of searches on tinternet but no joy.

I'd just like a spare set as I like the look of mine with the RL7s and as I need to send one of mine away to get repaired just seems to make sense.

Instead of sending yours away for repair, try PartEx wheels. I used them and they were excellent.

They send you a set of 'As new' RL17's, you swap the tyres from your existing ones and send your old wheels back to them. You can be back on the road in under an hour

I've seen there add, the only thing is it's only one wheel that's scuffed, the other three are mint.

I gather they only do a full set and not just one wheel. I've even looked for any old wheel that fits the Cerbera, but even that is proving harder than I though for just one at the right price.

May just have to give the car up for a couple of days while I get the wheel refurbed.

I have a spare set of 16" wheels you can borrow, they are correct fitting and do fit over 4.5 brakes, just been used for airfield days still have plenty of tread, I'm not back to Kent until Thursday but you're more than welcome to borrow them if it helps.

Slightly OT but Interesting on the 16" fitting over 4.5 brakes, I have an old set here and keep meaning to jack the front up to try them. Is there reasonable room or is it fagpaper stuff and a bit scary?

It's a bit close, but not had problems, only used them on airfield days and travelling to and from North Weald.

Strange, when I tried fitting them they didn't clear the calipers (16" Saturns).

Would be really interested if someone could confirm if 16" Oz Saturn's do actually fit over 4.5 Cerb front disks and calipers?

Sorry - misunderstood your post. Bell Hill Breakers used to sell new RL17's, you could try them.

I purchased the wheels from Dan Taylor after we trial fitted them to the car it was tight but they fitted. They are a similar style to the Saturns but have RS centre caps.
Neil is picking them up at the weekend and we will know for sure then, I will try and take a picture of them when I get back to Kent.

Matt is right in the mine are the normal TVR Saturns that came on the 4.2, indeed he has mentioned to me before that it was at best very close with that wheel, to the point of not being advisable - other wheels will likely be different inside though (I know that visually at least, an 18" Spider seems to sit closer to the calliper than the 18" SP wheels). Of course as we know TVRs being what they are I am sure that is also changes depending on year etc (later black callipers v earlier ones etc), indeed mine being a conversion to 4.5 size (with 4.5 callipers and a spacer I think) it might be different again, so I still think I will sling mine on at some point and just see for myself on my car.

Sorry again for taking this OT, what I can say about the RL's is that I hardly see them come up these days, when I first bought my Cerb there seemed to be some on Ebay at any given time - not now though

TC - I'm intrigued now to find out what the wheels I have are from. They definitely had RS centre caps and are similar style to the Sierra RS wheels, will definitely post a pick when I'm back.

When I pick the wheels up, I only itend to use them to sit the car back down on rubber - as I'm not to keen on leaving the car jacked up while my RL7 if refurbed. So even if they do fit albeit tight, I wont be able to confirm how they perform on my 4.5 Cerb.

I have a spare wheel you can use if you only need to sit it on the ground. You would have to come over to heathrow way to pick it up though. Mail me if you are interested.

to be honest its all about the money here... i dont need to sell... but if the offers good...well u no.
