Just thought I would put this out there, the jag XJ, 2004 with the xenon high intensity headlights. One of them has gone faulty. Are we talking about an arm and a leg here?

Can they be done by any garage or is it a main dealer job? Only had the car 4 weeks, from a main dealer. Who is saying its not covered by the warrenty.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I would say IT IS covered by Warrenty, they are expecive, it's not like a bulb going on normal headlights

Sale of goods act and all that

Is it just the bulb gone, or more serious? If the former you could do it yourself, look in owners manual for details of changing it.

I had a "starter" go on one of my Xenons on the A4. It could be that. Dealer replaced both under warranty, but never I found out the cost.
