Returning to the Fold.

Hello one and all!

Last Year i sold my pride and joy TVR T350 for improvements on the home! Feel like it was the worst mistake ever and ever since then all i have wanted was to re join the TVR faithful! Not only was it the most fun and exciting car i have ever owned, it was also a great group of people that you met when you had one.

Anyway to cut a long story short... I'd like to re join the group BUT i would like to find a non-runner T350, Tamora or Sag. So i could start from scratch and custom build it my way.

A. I want to know how easy it would be to get hold of a non-runner at a reasonable price
B. Is it a good idea?

I don't want to remove any of the orignal features but i'd like to have the choice on.

Engine Re-build (sticking with the speed six but maybe additional improvements etc..)
Nitrons or Gaz Golds
and maybe the colour if damaged exterior?

You see i want it to be a project over time so I can afford it and make it just as I like it?

Why not buy a cheap high mileage runner (you will be doing the engine anyway) - best of both worlds surely!?

Yes I guess so but I would be tempted to get it out all the time instead of working on it! Haven't looke in a while but what sort of price would I be looking at now? I got my last one around the £18k mark? I may have to start saving if there isn't anything a little lower than that?
