The 308 went in for a service last week, and unfortunately picked up a handful of light scratches (probably down to volcano fallout and some muppet at the garage with a sponge, all gone now though) ... but that prompted a marathon bank holiday weekend polishing session !!

My hands feel slightly ... waxy .. now !

all done (polished) by hand? no usage of polishers?
doesn't it give you an enormous sense of satisfaction to get a shine like that without gadgets

If you study these pics you will notice a large round thing infront of one of the seats

This when used in combination with the pedals being pressed in the right order the car will actually move.

I often feel detailers do not know this

Where ?!?! Where ?!?! wink (probably have, but hey ... smile)

I particularly enjoy doing the Carnauba ... a) it smells so lovely b) you know you're near the bl**dy end !!

To be honest, there's still a couple of bits I need to go back over ... e.g. I want to redo the rear panel, and I want to take the rear lights off (308s get a lot of carbon 'freckles' on the rear panel through driving, and there's some really hard to get to bits around the rear lights that over years start to go a bit dark, so I want to whip 'em off (oooh err) to get in there properly ... but I canna be BOTHERED today smile
