Have fun finding insurance! Especially if its an import. A friend who's 21, 4 years NCB and no points ever was asked to hand over his entire life savings plus the street value of both of his kidneys when he tried to insure a standard 1995 UK Turbo.

Everyone has to work their way up the car insurance ladder, you just cant cheat it!

Your dad should get one though.... my parents are on their second after I persuaded them as a 9yr old McRae and Burns fan

Either your dad owns an insurance company or is worth billions because that is the only way that you could possibly insure that as a first car.

No chance, at all of insuring it.

I've been doing quotes for my brother as hes just coming up at 17, £5000 just for a 1.4 Diesel Seat Arosa.

For £1500 I'd save the money

There would be no point having this as a 1st car because you would have it for 5 mins before you smashed it up, then you would have no claims and need to pay even more money to insurance companies!! start small and work your way up, it's half the fun!!!
