Bio Diesel & suitablilty for a TDV8 Range Rover?
Discussion
Would like to hear if anyone actually uses in their TDV8 or makes their own BioDiesel
Have done a few searches online and its seems to make financial sense???
A few users report problems though with filters getting blocked after initial use due to the BioDiesel loosening particles in the tank and fuel lines but after that it seems fine.
My TDV8 is lucky to reach 20mpg so it would pay for itself pretty quickly for me also have other Diesel cars that i could use the fuel for too.
Going to post a question in the general forum too but thought i would ask here first

2 5han -
keep me posted if you find any news.
I am getting about 25MPG, but surely Bio must be an option.
I have read similar regarding having initially having to change fuel filter etc due to bio cleaning the system out & also in winter mixing 50/50 as a precaution to stop waxing, which both would be fine by me.
Hopefully someone will be able to enlighten us.
I posted under General Gassing but no replies.. suppose not enough of a true petrol head question

Standard is 270bhp & 472 lb ft.........after re-map you get 340bhp and 598lb ft of torque.
The difference from standard is amazing and the car drives much more smoothly and feels far more responvise from the off. Have had about 5 or 6 done now I think and never had any problems.......some having covered over 50,000 miles with the remap.
Go get it!
