labour candidate for North West Norfolk has described Winky as the 'worst pm ever', all official with the local rag.

2 days before polling day...

The man himself on skynews now. talking a lot of sense, and standing by his comments.

Mannish Sood said "it's a disgrace and he owes an apology to the people and the Queen"

Currently putting the boot into Brown on SKY.

But Mr Sood did praise Mr Brown for lowering the interest rates for mortgage owners.
He doesn't seem that clued up himself - i thought the BoE controlled interest rates(?) -
but i suppose any sort of backstabbing would be a good thing at this stage.

LOL funny.

Heard the guy on Sky just now and he seems a bit 'odd' though.

He'd been whinging in April about the seat being unwinnable - I guess he's given up on Labour (especially being a man) and has decided to try and inflict damage on his way out.

Didn't seem terribly bright, no.

I wonder if there have been any other recent incidents of Labour parliamentary candidates saying silly things?

Well, Winky himself said recently that he would go and do charity work when he is kicked out leaves parliament. Does that count?

This made me laugh though - Brown's been doing a great job of taking us back to the 70's...

Yup, certainly.

How about anyone else in the East Anglian region?

I guess the land-from-sea project is working but has some detrimental impact.

The Romans did this to Caesars, wield the knife to gain a position in the new order.

It is a trick as old as the Grecian intrigues.

Turn on your leader as he is failing and appear the stronger man.

It is in the premier league political moves, but like all political manoeuvres timing is important, too late and you are kicking an already whipped cur, too early and you are set upon and ruined forever.

See this man for what he really is, a political opportunist.

He is as vile as the man he is kicking.

Spot on.

I haven't looked at the details of the seat. However, he is an Asian candidate parachuted in from Leicester into an almost all white community in Norfolk. I hardly think he was on to a sure fire winner.

It's got him is 15 minutes of fame. However, it could be a spectacular fail if Gordon retains any position of power within the Labour party.

And ironic as he is hardly representative of his potential constituency.

And wasn't P*** Bashing prevalent in the '70s?

Sood is fantastic entertainment value, how come we've only discovered this comedy genius now?

Labour deserve everything they get here for nominating stooges for seats they are never going to win.

Does make me wonder what the public dont like about the Conservatives - have there ratings not dropped(clear 10points ahead a few months ago) and stood still at 33-35%? Not sure why the press are not questioning the Tories strategy as they should be walking this election and not worrying about a coilition with the Liberals.
