Me and my wife are registered to vote in this way. When it arrived last week the card has names of your local representatives and not the party leaders, is this right, i have spoken to a few people over the phone and one says that there are no local elections, just a general and you just tick the box for the party you want. If so i have done it right but i have been waiting for another card.

One person said another card would follow, another person said i may not be registered to postal vote in general elections, another said its just the general election and you will only get one postal card, another said if i had register to postal vote then i would be able to do so on all elections.
You have to love how everyone has the same information.

Has anyone postal voted and what was your card like, did you have two etc etc

You will have at least one voting form. This will be for the general election where you are voting for your local MP. You never get to vote for the party leaders.

You may have a second postal vote for council elections.

Excellent, thanks. I have had one form with the parties on and local mp names.
