Check this baby out!

Hey guys, have you seen this car in the classifieds? I don't know the owner of this car personally, but both he and the car are well known on the CRX forum... and this is a total bargain if it's still up grabs.

The car was owned and built-up by one of the founder members of the CRX forum and passed from him on to another member, the current owner.

We all know the CRX was nippy motor an standard trim, but this one has been converted to 2.0litres using pretty much all OEM honda parts in a crx/prelude hybrid IIRC.

This was one of first cars in the UK to have this conversion done, which has been so sucessful members on the forum have done it again many times since.

Not only is this once of the cleanest crx's in the country but the car is running just under 200bhp. Where it really gains over the standard car is in torque. This car justs gets up and goes, where other Hondas have to wait for the magic 3500rpm and then 5,500rpm before warp drive kicks in.

Don't let this car go into autotrader and on to a numptie who will load it down with neonz!

Give it a look,
Mouse.

Check this baby out!

From the pics it does look clean and apart from the wheels exactly like mine did!

Like you say DM, this is a very good price at £3300.

If I had the moeny to spend on a track car Id get it and use it for that.
I love this car, so much fun on the twisties.
Really cant be rated till you have tried it.

An I only had the 1.6i VTEC
with 2.0 it must shift.
The prelude engine is a 2.2 vtec and the integra a 1.8.
So How did they get a 2.0 Vtec? is it made up from different engines?

It looks like a 1.8 Integra 4pot on the pic. Ad says "comprising of b20 block and b16a head, ( . . ) , rr'd @180bhp/ 140lb/ft" Spoony?

The engine is a Hybdrid. A B16A1 head on a B20 block IIRC.

I DO NOT know the guy who was selling this car anymore than I know most people on here.

I just wanted to bring attention to it because the guy has put it up on eBay as no one had yet bought it.

No nepotism, I just didn't want to hear the car had fallen into the handes of a ricer/max muppet.

Don't what happened with it since.
