Who do yo use for your insurance? I have had some extremely pleasing quotes from msm and aviva - around £650-700 mark. I'm yet to talk to the specialist guys, i used to be with hargety on the chim but of course they aren't touching TVR anymore.
I'm 25, 7NCB clean licence, rural postcode etc for 8 years - last 18months driving a chim. A TVR is owned as a second car.

Am I right in thinking the TVRCC gets you a discount with one?

MSM was best value at £438, way cheaper than Flux, Admiral multi car or others that were noted on Pistonheads. TVR is second car also.

Paul speak to Giles he was miles cheaper than anybody else and includes free trackday cover as well.

elephant have always been really cheap for me as a young driver. Im 23 with 2 years no claims and pay 986 quid on the sag. Even at 19 i was only paying 2300 on a 650bhp evo so it might be worth giving them a try. Ill get a quote from admiral now and see if its any cheaper.

I migrated from Flux to A Plan. The price £525 won it for me and the fact I could put my no claims back on my daily drive doubled my savings. Next year it may well be someone else!

Mannings wouldn't accept any no claims as I'm under 30, otherwise they would have duplicated them across! I do have a couple of year no claims earned on a second car too (TVR).

Insurance hunting, utter ball ache!

Haven't tried A plan, MSM quote v good but yet got to speak to them if they have based it on a second car basis

Got confirmation back from MSM saying they will giving me the benefit of my NCD from my regular policy, Quote under £600 which I think is fantastic.

I'm so far extremely pleased with the service, has a good independent local feel much like NFU - they even asked if I could pop by the office for a cuppa!

That seems like an awesome deal at 23. Have you had to commit to very low mileage or anything?
