Scratch on glass

Is it possible to remove a large scratch from the door glass? maybe done with a key or something.

Could try Jewellers Rouge available from a Glazier.If you run your nail over it and can feel the scratch its most likely it will not polish out.

yes it is possible.

I ran a thread on this about 3-4 months ago in general gassing for a friend. The results of the product he purchased as a result of the thread worked perfectly for him.

Unfortunately i cant remember the name of the thread but Im sure a search will find it.

they do a window scratch removal kit for £20 consists of a pad you put in your drill and some polishing compound - sucuessfully got a scratch out of my windscreen caused by previous owner letting the wiper score back and forwards over the glass !!!! some people ! worked great - makes a mess though
