Flashing Hazzards

No I'm not in a long trench coat hanging round the park its my Griff with personality issues!
So just drivin my Griffith for first time home from Bodyshop, and the hazzards kept flashing either under braking or indicating then after short while stopped, also when door opened or closed. Then when I parked up after 20min drive home would not start to drive into garage, flat battery, but the battery is new and started car fine a good few times and should have charged on drive home? The top red led on dash is on all the time when driving and red flashing led on the cp also. Is this right? Having nvever driven when ok I don't know. I have had a quick search and think checking groud connection is a good idea? and battery terminals.
Also found bonet was not locked down, could this be cause? linked to alarm? It's a meta with seperate fob.

As Ribol mentioned the alarm.
Check the siren the later ones can be turned off for servicing. The siren in the engine bay has a key hole which allows the siren to be turned on or off. The key is one of those cylinder type keys.
Failing that I would check the earths - the one on the front offside chassis rail is one I've had problems with, there's a bolt in the end of the chassis rail.

No it shouldn't. Sounds like you may have more than one issue.Think the red light you mentioned is the charging warning light. Check the 100amp fuse usually located underneath the chassis rail near the starter motor. Also possibly another one in the footwell spaghetti.
