I'll be down on sunday trackside taking pics, should be good!
Knockhill's own Rory Butcher is in the X-Bow, he should go really well.

Wonder how many will make the LONG journey north

Grid was a wee bit depleted last year IIRC

BTW if you are up on the Saturday there are two 60min session for GT's

I'm intending being there on the Sunday. Was intending to go along to a driving meet instead, but I'm keen to see some action at KH and justify me buying a half-decent camera lens boxedin

2 Mini races on Saturday as well wink

Legends have 6 races over the weekend so a good card for them!

Hopefully I'll be racing and not watching. Late nights in the workshop all the way!

Unfortunately I'm committed elsewhere on Sat otherwise I'd be tempted with both days. I'll keep an eye out for flying Mini's on Sunday though - I was at the NMS meet/showing of The Italian Job in Galashiels last year and still have strong memories of that video of Mini action shown beforehand, nutters the lot of you biggrin

Was at Oulton for the opening two rounds and there were some great racing through out the field. As S2red said, a lot will depend on how many teams actually turn up. If the Speedworks G50 makes the trip north then there should be great battle between them and Rory Butchers X-Bow

think the saving grace is that we have a full smrc programme as last year the GT's brought 10 cars and 10 in ginetta G20. actually debating whether to go flagging this weekend as I cant see any incidents coming from brit GT. okay thats the curse of the marshal on that one and as I am no longer veggie i should have some pork pies in my piecebox... again that should ensure some action

I'll be there. Just need to resist the temptation to bankrupt myself by going racing again. Might be difficult after catching up with everyone and getting jealous though!

I only came up on the Sunday last year. Only incident I can remember is someone in a GT3 spinning out at MacIntyres and another one collecting him up the backside.

i had the mosler in the gravel at clarks, 1st live snatch under a safety car. there was nice on board footage of be running away as it came off at 100mph then me down on my hands and knees digging the gravel out

think it wil be a good weekend, emi I wouldnt worry too much about paddock space as they can use that bit of hardstanding at the back of the hairpin sheds also the large bit of gravel on the left before you go through the main gates. just hope no competitors pitch tents on the grass bit next to the karting as that si supposed to be marshals camping, if they do then STFU by 11pm, last year a squad of ginetta drivers deciced to party to 2am and were close to getting a clout. me and a mate got revenge by rattling our brewcans at 7am though

Rory's a nice chap, have had a few laps with him at KH and he's super smooth.

Provisional GT entry list here: http://www.knockhill.com/events/documents/May_2010...

I'm going to go tomorrow seeing as it's only a fiver, not been to Knockhill for non-BTCC meets for a while. Haven't seen the GTs there since the days of the Saleens and the Lister! Might do Sunday too. Was at Silverstone watching the FIA GTs last weekend and the GT3 race was fairly action packed, hope this weekend's races are the same.
