Kings Cross hotels.....

Anyone recommend a good high end hotel with a good bar (Sunday night) within decent walking distance, much appreciated thanks.

Not high end, but the Premier Inn is okay. All new hotel.

Kings Cross is a dump and it's not really the sort of place for a good hotel.

Near Farringdon. One stop from Kings Cross or a cheap taxi ride. The Castle pub on the corner is good. St.John restaurant is very near too.

Second vote for the Rookery. Fantastic small hotel with character, bar is on an honesty basis and is quiet but lovely place to relax.
