Volvo C30 DRIVe - Any good

Seen a few of these around now & really fancy one, very smart looking car, ideal for the daily commute. Question is, are the "DRIVe" versions really any good?

I looked at the C30 before and they appear to be very well made with a similar (perhaps even the same) interior as the S40 with the floating console. Not the most practical of cars with an awkward boot opening and available only in 3 doors but it depends what it will be used for I guess.

I also like the strange wheels on the DRIVe models

C30/S40/V50 are essentially the same car.

My mum has a C30 1.6 R-Design, and I'm very impressed with it. No issues so far but she does hardly any miles!
