IIghtweight T350/Sag?

Has anyone here, put their T350 or Sag on a dramatic diet in the same vein as the Porsche RS's? For example gutting the interior or changing glass for Perspex etc? If so have you still kept it as a usable road car and what weight savings were made?

Ceejay has done this to his T350, but to extremes for circuit racing only, so then with added weight of full cage etc. Don't know what weight achieved.

I have removed the aircon
changed the seats
changed the wheels
changed the rear screen to perspex
Removed the door cards
removed the washer bottle and 1 wiper
Changed the under trays to Aluminium
Lightweigt battery
removed stereo and speakers.

Its now true to its power to weight ratio

you could also take the aircon rad out and some other gubins from under your normal rad.

I was going to take out the air con in my Sagaris, then I drove it when it was 20+, it's now defo staying in and works great, really makes a big difference and using the car without A/C when the sun comes out would be like sitting in a sauna.

Yes that was taken out as well and by taking that rad out helped with cooling.

Horses for courses I need lightness for speed to keep up with those massive TVR Power 4.3 and 4.5ltr pub talk engined cars . My windows work just fine and if it gets to hot I open the doors.
