im trying to find out info on a car ive just purchased, its bmw reg mt 05 dwm, it shows as having 46,000 miles, but im not convinced. the timing belt slipped last week, and i dont think it would do this after 46000 miles, can any one help, tried a few car checkers, just a waste of money.

Umm, it doesn't have a timing belt; it's a chain.

I called a tame BMW dealer and they gave me all the service history the car had with them and also a print out of the all the options the car was specced with from new.
