A challenging what car did I see thread

Ok so this doesn't happen to me often, but I just drove past a car, got a glimpse of the front end and the side, and I have no idea what it was. Here's what I know/think:

I think it was Renault but I'm really not sure.

I don't know if it is a new car or a well looked after old one, but it was in good condition.

It was like, a light mint green (doubt that helps).

It was a hatchback.

It was quite jagged, as if designed purely with a ruler.

It had a distinctive long silver grill at the front near/around the badge.

I think it was *about* the same size as an Astra.

I've Googled bloody everything and I can't find it. I don't think it was modded, but it is like nothing I've ever seen.

This might be a lost cause, but I'd be impressed if someone cracks this vague puzzle!

True, it's pretty ugly but at least Renault try to be different. I'm willing to forgive them the Vel Satis if they continue to build stuff like the Avantime, Spider and V6 Clios.

It's worst in the flesh. Looked ridiculous. I googled a lot and didn't find it, can't be selling well!

I hope Renaultsport don't have a crack at that.

they have stopped making them now (praise be ) i have only ever seen 1 no make that 2 on the road
