have you noticed most (but not all) car clubs have the same type of owners, ie if someone says their car will do 500mph, there is always someone that has a faster car. if a car gets 100mpg, then someone will get more. i'v just orderd a gumpert, not worth the bother mate, my veyron gets deliverd tomorrow, just seen off a ruff porsche 911 in my saxo vtr. another old chestnut....my mate has.....etc etc. then there's the ones that tell you lots of facts and details about their cars they own, but its plain they have just read a few online reports and changed a few of the words. oh well you got to love them.

That is just life in general.

There are always those who have it bigger, better, faster etc. (or often "know" someone who does). They are not happy with their lives and so are attempting to belittle your achievements.

Sadly, a few years ago I had a mate who would introduce me as "the guy that owns the TVR" - I can't think why we are no longer friends....
