Hi

I've recently purchased a 430 spider and I’m finding it has an annoying rattle at motorway speeds from the wind deflector. Does anyone know a quick fix or if it’s a known fault?

Thanks

Mikey

mine never rattled ever - it is removable there are some small screws so maybe just needs tightning? i remember i had a pouch for the middle glass bit, not sure if there was a special tool for removing it as screws didnt look normal. cant check as no longer have the car

Thanks Andy,

Yer I have the tool in the tool kit. I took the win deflector off and readjusted it but it still has a small wobble, which is what I think is causing the vibration. The only thing I can think of is to either thicken the padding between the deflector and the car? Or it needs to go to the dealers?

Thanks

Mikey

mine always did that too and I never fixed - nor the dealer - in the end just took it off - it actually just pulls up - stiff but just keep pulling - you should have a little zip bag in the front it goes in

Assume Ferrari knew it rattled anyway so gave you a bag to put it in so at least didn't rattle in the boot!! smile

haha that is very handy of them. Typical Italian super car!! But at lest they thought of giving you a bag to put it in, knowing you would remove it! Good idea

Thanks

Lovely car and nice colour.

I had the pleasure of driving a black 430 Spider last week (and the deflector rattled on that as well so I just kept it in race mode to have the exhaust valves open all the time biggrin )
