As I only have 2 years no claims I am not getting quoted happy

Is there a company out there that will take car no claims into consideration?

Cheers

What have you been quoted for and what price? I've got zero motorbike no claims but had some reasonably good quotes.

Are you looking for TP or Fully Comp?
And how old are you?

Was looking at getting the new GSXR 750 so rang around for a few quotes. Cheepest I got was £1000 for fully comp. I'm 32 and have 2 year NCB licence for 2 years.

Your two years NCB may hold you up on that one. norwich union (and the other big underwriters) like a min of 3. I had 4 years, then had my road going R1 nicked and now with 2 yrs NCB no-one seems interested. I do have a V5 for a C reg (1986) honda 50 though.... which is getting a nice NCB. The CRF is OK with 2 yrs NCB though, and the race bike is on a fire & theft only policy.

I've just bought a Fazer 600, not i the same league as a GSXR admittedly, but I'm 30, with no NCB and have just insured with Yamaha Fully Comp for 450 quid. Virgin were the same. Lowest TPF&T quote I had was for 210.
You should be able to get lower what you've been quoted with at least SOME NCB, surely?

look at the claims profile of the two bikes and you'll see why insurers like some NCB on a gixer. A fazer and a GSXR750 are completely different bikes....

Your question below is rhetorical is assume?! To answer your question, yes, you can get cheaper quotes when you've got some NCB. The more you have the cheaper it gets!

I'm currently paying £250 for Third party only on my 99 GSXR-750.

If I recall correctly they wanted circa £1k for that fully comp.

Thieving ***** anyhow I will see what happens. May not be an issue now because my mate who was buying mine cant get insurance cos he hasn't got a garage.
