Soldiers awarded medals by Camilla....but why...
Discussion
Yesterday the BBC news reported on Camilla awarding medals to soldiers who had served in Afghanistan, several of whom had suffered serious injuries (4th Batallion The Rifles). They had a few small snippets of interviews with a few of the moms saying how proud they were however.....
The BBC stated that "due to sensitivity concerning the elections tomorrow, we cannot show the interviews with the soldiers".
Is this because they would have mentioned the lack of kit? The bad situation out there? ie Anti-Winky ? I don't see why the views of the soldiers should not be shown down to an election tomorrow? Surely they have the right to say what is going on even if it contradicts the McCyclop?
