Yes there is a hydraulic rack, requires pump and different steering arm brackets (the ones that bolt onto the back of the upright). The rack is bespoke Tuscan as far as I know. Probably made of unobtainium now, unless JR has some.

Hi Mike,

I've fitted a Corsa EPS system to mine (leccy power steering column). I've gone with the Corsa 'C' column as its height adjustable and with the motorsport control box, it also has adjustable assistance. Seems to fit quite well, though the bracket to hold it was a bit of an arse to make. I've got mine hung off the extra cage bar I've got running behind the dashboard.

Have you tested it yet, as my control box was gave too much assistance even on full.
Need to get round to testing the pulses now I have space. I got the 'C' Column also, but I made a fix bracket as it was easier.

my control box was not the motorsport one though, so if yours works and I can't get mine too I may get the same as yours.

No I've not tested it yet, just got the thing in the car. I'm about to strip it all out to go and get the car painted, then I'll build it all back up and wire it up in a couple of weeks with a bit of luck. I've heard that this can offer too much assistance so I'll see what I can do to reduce it if necessary. I know it is possible to do so it'll just be a case of tinkering with it until it works as I want it to! Worst case I can just turn it off and run without assistance for a bit I guess?

I've got the Rally control box as it seemed a good price. I've heard that the DC electronics one is better so I may end up going for this in the future I'll keep you posted when I get the running gear done and its moving under its own steam finally!

For now I've just put a switch on it, and just turn it off when on the track.

Mike, there is a Tuscan power steering rack. There is one fitted to No.44. The pump runs off the propshaft, just above the diff.
As to where you would get one..........?

Mike - there was a pump and associated plumbing in the stack of spares that went with the car from me when Owen bought it. There wasn't a power rack though....
