Exhausted

I think the manifold on my chim is blowing where the 4 pipes join
Anyone got tips for a quick fix?

This happened to me. Unfortunately the only option is to replace with either a second hand or a new part.

Could try some exhaust wrap. But can't imagine that working particularly well with all the angles involved.

I think this is pretty common. It happened on mine and it was the gaskets that needed changing. The parts aren't expensive, but it is a PITA job to do - so mainly labour costs to sort. Any mechanic should be able to do it though.

If I had the time I'd take the manifold off and have it welded.
but as the car is my daily driver I'll have to look out for
some secondhand manifolds. Some ACT pipes are on my wish list!

Try filling the joint where they meet with either gun gum or ideally fire cement for a part time fix.
