What would you say a tidy 43k 2000 X-plate Honda S2000 is worth. Grey with red leather, FHSH and 12mths MoT

£1500 in 3 minutes!

Even a large V6 French saloon would struggle to better that!

Just poked on autotrader and theyre up at more like 7.5k. Having only ever bought one car and that was on e-bay, do you guys really expect to knock a grand and a half off?

Wouldnt say much more than £7k. May want to have Geometry looked at aswell on a 2000, as its the more viscious AP1.

A a guide I paid £8600 for a 34,000 mile 03, S2000 GT in February.

So a slightly higher millage and older car somewhere around £7-8k Most of the cars I looked at around £6-6.5k has nearer 60-70,000 miles.

Sounds like you had a good deal mate, im looking for one at the moment, i think i will wait till the summer is over, may get a better price. Ideally looking for a AP2, '53 onwards.

I bought a 51 plate at 97000 FSH in Feb 09 for £6000. Sold in May 09 for £5950. I didn't actually lose money on it though as it came with an aftermarket exhaust which I sold on ebay for around £200.

Bought a new "Glass window" model in 03. Best car that I have ever owned. Paid £23k from memory for it [a GT] sold it 6 months 12,000 miles later for £22k.

At 7k or so its still attracting c 28% of new price after 10yrs !

Good going

bloody cracking cars! I bought an MY00 back in april 2006 for £12.5k. Sold it later that year for £12.3k IIRC after putting about 10-15k on her

Nothing went wrong, it went like stink and sounded frikkin' awesome at full chat. Had many an epic drive on a warm summers night, roof down, xenons blazing and engine screaming. Happy days!

oh and they aint twitchy; theyre loveable!

Care to explain it to us mere mortals then?
AP2 is the 2.2 version available only in Japan and the USA.

All UK cars are 2.0 regardless of which model year, ALL are AP1.

Take look at any facelifted UK car and the chassis number will be AP1.
