This is not another 'who are you going to vote for' as there are quite a few already...
But what party candidate actually bothered to come to your house?

The only candidate that came here was Labour. In the last general election it was Labour and the Green party. Perhaps being in a mainly Conservative area they just thought 'why bother'?

I know some people like a door step fight but I politely told them I was not interested.

Harpenden and Hitchin is a Tory stronghold yet Peter Lilley (Tory) was the only to make an effort to come round.

None here either. They must have all been concentrating on the sink estate down the road.

Same here. One leaflet each from Labour, Tory, Lib-Dem, Green, UKIP, 2 from the SNP.

No-one actually turned up on the doorstep.

Labour - one of Fiona McTaggarts lackeys, looked offended when I told him I wouldn't vote for his dispicable party.

None.

Shocking as this is a highly marginal seat presently Con, which was visited by Clegg yesterday.

Someone from LD came around whilst i was in, i'm pretty sure others did but i missed them.

I must have received about 30 letters/leaflets from various parties in the last 4 weeks.

None, even though this is quite high on Labour's target list (currently Tory).

Aklthough oddly I got a text from a DCameron this morning - but I am not a Tory party member, never have been or would want to be, don't know any, and wouldn't give my mobile number to them. Was a polite text, mind.

None have darkened our door. Might be something to do with the 'Vote Guy Fawkes' poster in the window, but I suspect not. Did have a couple of canvassers appear one weekend who disappeared after knocking on a few doors - that's dedication for you rolleyes

I'm in an ex-mining village, so everything is still Maggie's fault and you could stick a labour rosette on a turd and people would vote for it. Talking of which, it's become something of a joke that the candidate parachuted in to replace Geoff Hoon, Gloria 'Tits oot for the lads' de Piero, has yet to be seen by *anyone*. This has rankled a lot, and for all the village's red history, I wouldn't be susprised to see a strong swing to the LibDems, but not enough to unseat Labour.

Still, Nick Clegg and Vince Cable, must be convinced they stand a chance here given that they've written to us every fking day for two weeks mad

Labour candidate (and was the MP until Parliament was dissolved). She's not going to hold her seat.

I'm not clicking any more PH polls, that's the second time I've been told "You just voted for the Green Party - Unlucky".

Seriously the only one round was the prospective Conservative, straight race between Lib Dem & Con here though.

Leaflets but no candidates.

I'm on the verge of voting for Speedy Peppers takeaway though, as they saw fit to leave me with 5 or 6 manifestos.

Only a Tory came to our house, and Guildford is a Tory town.. We had a leaflet from the Lib Dems but it wasn't very good anyway.

We've had the Lib Dem candidate and Labour and Green canvassers (who turned up as I arrived in my gas-guzzling estatetongue out). And leaflets from all of them.

IIRC the Labour bod asked if he could count on my support. Erm, no.
