Awsome ringcraft!, it's a bit tame for the first minute or so, but once he gets past another porker and into open country..., oh my...

Did you mention tame in relation Frank Stippler? - people have been shot for less

If it's the video I'm thinking about (on a slow download here), I just love the way the Alzen (black) Porsche pulls away so easily from every other car as they go over start grid - simply unbelievable turn of speed

Then as Stippler goes down the Fuchsrohre the overtake on the white Porsche is totally unexpected, must have taken balls the size of watermelons over injected with tequila, and was one of the best overtakes I've seen coz he just makes it look so so easy at a point of the track very few others would go for an overtake.

As you say, class video.

I originally downloaded the Frank Stippler video from www.nurburgring.de

http://tinyurl.com/tv07

The above page has a little more info on the car, and a few pictures of it (which you don't see from the inboard video).

I would also recommend the Artur Deutgen video on the same page doing a lap on board his DTM E30 M3 - the sound is fantastic, and he sure knows how to drive that thing round the Ring.

it is the video your thinking of, i meant tame, not in relation to Stippler himself, but relative to how he just cruises through the F1 section biding his time, once through that section. he just opens it all up and, well it's just fireworks from then on!...

Pesty, YHM.

Overtake exiting the Fuchsrohre compression.

Must remember that one for future application, NOT.

PS - SFV, have you driven the F1 section of the Ring?
