I guess she's used to working, doesn't exactly want to give it up...or something like that.

I bet Gilbert will be overjoyed.

It must be lovely for him.

I don't know what I'd do with that much money, but I sure as hell wouldn't work.

Well, that's a lie, I'd probably start up my own business, doing, something.

Surely you mean pay others to do something for you and enjoy the profits ;-)

I doubt many average people would be able to manage that kind of money and know what to do with themselves once they get their hands on it. There are likely to be so so many people harassing her for money now!

You couldn't spend that money though really could you?

Unless you bought a P&O ferry, but what would you do with one of them?

You probably couldn't buy and run one for that anyway.

Damn.

get only half the money if you take it all at once... or get annual payments over 25years, and loose out on a crap load of interest.

wtf kind of crap deal is that ?

I can kind of understand it if you have a really good social life and lots of friends at work but it would depend on the job and at least if it did go tits up you could just walk away knowing you have no worries.

Invite Richard Hammond, Piers Morgan and Alan Carr on board and sink it?

It seems that the rules of their lottery state you can either take the winnings now and only get 50%, or have the full amount spread over 25 years.

I think I could manage on £7m a year. But I also like the idea of £88m up front.

I can think of plenty of ways to spend it... but enjoying it without ending up dead from a life of excess before I could finish blowing it would be my main concern

I'd take the £88m up front, pay the taxes off and put the rest in a high interest account and live off the interest..!

Quite often it is a requirement of the lottery in the US. That is why you will see winners in masks.
