According to the guide on the Vauxhall site (though I could only say it was a 1999 for some reason) between £2500 and £3000.

Here you go,

Cheers. I'd be bloody stunned if a dealer offered me £2.5k. Unless I was buying a new Insignia or something.

TBH I`ve used it as a guide for the last two cars I`ve part exchanged (not at Vauxhall dealerships btw) and it`s been within a couple of hundred quid of what I`ve eventually been offered.

Thank you very much. Quite pleased with the results. Whether I actually get that much remains to be seen.

No problem at all.

Best way to get an indication of a trade in value is to have a look at similar cars that are advertised for sale and take a couple of £k off.

Thanks, will do. How much does colour alter the value? It's in gold...

Gold won't help it's case but on a positive note at least it's rare!

It will if you call it "Jewish racing Gold".

It's actually Mazda racing bronze which sounds so much more appealing! I looked at a few trade sellers, took off a couple of grand and ended up with a trade in figure of minus £1000. This is not good!

Christ, off to a bad start. First dealer I called suggested I sell privately as my thought of £2300 was pie in the sky. Loon, I'll take that £1005!

Sell it privately. Put it up at £2995 and it'll go immediately.

Why fk around trading in a car that's pretty saleable.
