Proton Satria 1.8 GTI Any good?
Discussion
never had one but from what i have seen on forums not too bad if you have lowish standards, but a lot of car for the money. Similar to a nissan almera GTI..
I think for about 1.5 k not a lot will beat it at that price..And Handling was done by lotus, something to tell you mates or GF/BF
If you have still got it in 6 months when I change car, I might offer you some money for it...

They're a fair bit slower than the Almera GTI I believe.I think for about 1.5 k not a lot will beat it at that price..And Handling was done by lotus, something to tell you mates or GF/BF

Evo rated them quite well but always thought the figures they had for it were off, I am sure it was something like 0-100 in 36 secs. I dont think they look bad but they do seem to be bought by people who want a cheap GTI/Sporty looking car.
In a sign of how quickly time flies, I think this is the mag I was referring to. I must've been 19 at the time.
