Very good question actually. Do you mean the cost to Kellogs to make a single rice krispie? Or the cost to yourself?

And is the packaging included? And the transport? And the wages to the people that make the product? And is their factory leased, or paid off long ago?

What about the equipment to make the rice krispies and the maintenance team that service this equipment? Does a small percentage of the cost of a rice krispie pay for this? And the managers, and the people that trade in order to purchase the raw ingredients and utilities at the lowest cost possible.

What if they make more cereals than just rice krispies in the same factory?
