Something i've always wondered.. Things like Caterhams, Westfields, self built kit cars etc.. Do they have insurance groups? Or is it upto the broker/insurer..

Some of those could have a 1.6 or 1.8L Engine.. but because of the weight be incredibly fast..?

I think they might have classes, but i'm not too sure.
Either way, I know that Adrian Flux want me to pay £900+ on my Lomax. It's only 450(ish)KGs but it only has 29BHP. The swines. (im 19 and have had my license for 1 year, always locked in garage in a good area, 3000 miles) It looks like i will have to wait a little longer for insurance and let my dad drive it in the meantime.
