He is the man in the know and has all the bits, including all the gearboxes and diffs that were left in the factory.
Also there is plenty of "diff" stuff on various posts on this forum if you do a search.

Gearbox and car also play a part - as do personal preference and tolerance levels.

Engine as been upgrased by Jason @ str8 its a blue printed 4 ltr with low ration box,
i have a prob with the diff and just wondered whats the best on market as this one as only lasted 4.5 k ?

If you mean Close ratio box then a 3.73 or a 3.91 would be a good option. The diffs are very strong so shouldnt be an issue. Many went to Quaife upgrades but I've never found the standard unit lacking.

3.91 is a good choice and thrown in for free is a semi automatic box. Agree with John on the Quaife front. I was not overly impressed with the ATB LSD that was fitted the Hydro track is more than capable.

I have a C/R box nad 3.91 diff in my Sag. I am possibly looking at a 4.3 - 4.5 engine conversion at end of the year

Come along to the Cadwell Park TVRCC Track day and Graham (VARLEYHYD)Will I am sure take you out and show you what that combo is capable of.

Dom at power with his 4.5 understand is to go the other way to a 3.46.

Not sure the driver is up to what the car can do though!

Will then have the CR with my current 4.3litre & 3.73 combo to try out.
Not sure its the best combo for Cadwell though; 3.91 possibly more suited?
Oulton Park is my local track, so I am hoping the 3.73 will be best for me along with touring.
