1 seat.

(Hangs head in shame for not voting)

I did convince a few people that the greens are insane and not to vote for them, though.

The amount of "Vote green" posters i've seen around is insane. I saw 5 on one house the other day.

I've only seen one other type of poster and it was a labour voter.

It's seriously saddening.

I'm going to look up what they have planned for my area. No doubt they're going to crush my car or something.

Edit:

I hate him, oh so much.

I hope they recycle those posters or we're all doomed.

Let's hope they enjoy the new levels of Council Tax under a commie regime .. then again they might be okay at a local level.

She can't allow either can she? How will she justify allowing hundreds of old/ powerful cars into her town?

A shame.

Aren't old cars better than new cars since the amount of pollution/environmental destruction created during making a prius is far more than the old mini is producing and likely ever will produce..

Although good news, Kemp town are Tories and I believe they look after the seafront.

I think she'd be hard pressed to remove all that tourist money from the city though. However I wouldn't put it past her.

Completely agree, but I doubt the Green party are that logical.

Ah you're confusing being "Green" with "Appearing Green" which is far more important than simply "saving the planet".

What annoys me is that a Party like UKIP gets 4 times the votes as the Greens, yet they do not get a seat.

Democracy is broken when those with less votes get more power than those with more.

I think the green party are more of a status symbol for Brightons 'Alternative' population.

However 'alternative' does no mean 'better'..

Having down syndrome is the alternative to not having down syndrome, for example.

From her website, regarding private rented housing:

Good landlords and letting agents have nothing to fear from regulation and partnership.

If I were a Brighton landlord I'd be on the phone to the estate agents right away.

The last thing landlords need is regulation by lefties who think that all property is theft. Until the landlord is providing housing at cost the lefties won't be happy.

Nothing to fear from regulation, in this context, is about as honest as Arbeit Macht Frei.
