Oi's been diving again, this time to St John's Reef & Fury Shoals in Egypt's southern waters.

It was overcast for the first 3 days, and windy all week, so not ideal conditions. But then again the diving was pretty average to be honest. Not particularly impressed if the truth be known...

Anyway, got some piccies, so thought I'd share a few...

Enjoy.

I've just gone from a Nikon D70 to a D300 in a Sea & Sea housing. All the wide angle shots were taken with a Tokina 10-17 and the macro shots either with a Nikon 60mm macro or a Sigma 18-50 macro.

I'm now throwing away my Nikon 12-24. Completely redundant now I've got the Tokina!

Hang on, there are two items in that list you didn't get from Simpo Cameras Inc!

Great photos as always...does make me wonder about getting a proper waterproof rig for one of the Canons.

We had one of them in the shallows 'haranguing' us for food when we were on a boat-trip around the lagoon in Aitutaki - big ol' boy, esp. with that beak!

Very nice... I'll have to make do with my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 and DMW-MCTZ5 underwater housing, since i havent got the spare money to splash on a fancy housing for my Nikon D90. PS I love my Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Do you use an external strobe/flash?

Stunning pictures mate.

Really want to go back to Egypt now, actually made me feel a bit homesick (am half Egyptian, grew up there).

Yes, I do. I use 2 Sea & Sea strobes. Built in flashes are no good for underwater photography, whatever the camera or the subject.

I'd just like to clarify what I said here tongue out

When I said "And so are you" I didn't mean dogsey's lovely. Cos of course we all know he's not. On another forum he called me a censored so I was merely commenting that he was one too.... I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I do NOT find dogsey lovely in anyway at all hehe
