Grandstand Tickets........again

Just a quick question : am I right to presume that grandstand tickets are transferrable ie. if we have 3 or 4 between a group of 8, we can all use them ???

First time you go in to your grandstand seats you give up your grandstand ticket. Whenever you leave the grandstand from then on they give you a little paper slip that you (or the friend you have passed it to) surrender to get back in.

Things are electronic now. On entry the GE ticket is scanned and you get in, then on the way out it is scanned again. If you fail to do this on the way out the ticket will not be accepted when scanned on re-entry. This stops GE tickets being passed around so that 3 tickets, say, allow 8, say, people in.

As you have 3-4 GE tickets, all 8 of you will get access but only 3-4 at a time.

So they did! Can't say I remember it but the grandstand ticket is still sat there in my Le Mans ticket pouch so it must have been so!
