MOT in the bag...

Car passed its MOT and the only advisory was "Drive it more !!!"

Thats great news for me but the steam from the exhaust "problem" is still there... they agreed it did look like more than they would expect from a warm engine but they tested the air around the swirl tank cap (cap off) looked for mayo - didnt find any, shrugged their shoulders and said it didnt look like a head gasket problem to them.
All pots have been tested for smell and signs of coolant - and no signs... so, I'm going to join Longers Scottish Tour on its way back down through the scottish borders and through Kielder on monday and give the car a good bleeze... that should make or break it I think...

Joining Longers Scottish Tour for a cross border section on monday (and Elfit = Tim is joining part of that too) then maybe up and down to work (Huddersfield so a 300 mile round trip) a couple of times and then SCH then on holiday for a week !!!

Good News Kev, also I would have thought if it was burning water it would have shown on the emissions test somehow?
