Reports coming out today that the BA strikes will come back and heavily impact Half Term week flights (when I am away, thanks BA)

It's not BA calling the strike - it's BASSA. Apparently the striker are now upset that Willie Walsh has removed their travel perks, after he warned them that was what he would do.

Given that they did a remarkably good job of keeping going last time, it seems to be the Unions who are struggling with this one.

They are all nuts in my opinion, and seem to be trying to kill the airline.

And when they get back from the strike they will find all the planes grounded as the company goes bust.

71% turnout. I wonder if they realised it was for a strike that they were voting or maybe they thought it was to get free fake tan?

Willie has said he'll restore the travel perks but the strikers will lose their seniority (like good socialism, your place in the queue is based on how long you've worked there not on merit etc). This seems a perfectly fair compromise IMO.

But no, the Reds at Unite want it all. If I were Walsh I would tell them they'll lose their travel perks completely with no restoration if they strike again.

They really are a bunch of prize nuggets!
