carbon fibre rear spoiler

my spoiler has faded alot and looks crap. does anyone know where i can get it re coated so its nice and shiny again. have tried polishing with variouse things but nothing seems to work.

iv tried everythin think only perminant option is to recoat it but dunno where to get it done

the spoiler is not carbon fibre

its fibreglas with a veneer on top !

No, really. I use 3-in-1 oil to keep mine in tip-top condition !

thats a new one on me but it does work. looks much better i actualy use air filter oil as that all i had but i wil get some 3 in 1 and see if its even better

I use the 3 in 1 spray, makes it look good. just don't let anyone run there finger through it when they are looking at how nice your car is. lol

Ive used peanut oil from Aldi, 3 drops is all you need and its quick drying and long lasting......

I have mentioned this before, but if anyone is willing to pay cost, Garnish Dip next to me are very keen to hear from you guys with fading carbon fibre. It isn't a wrap but the pannel is dipped then the print then gel coated, it is then as good as the body work. The results I've seen are very very good. They are keen to get a Noble on their portfolio www.garnish-uk.com

Won't be cheap, they charge £275 for a motorbike tank

You might want to check with a fiberglass repair place, like a boat repair place, to see if they can redo the gel coat on your wing. Or an auto body shop that has experience with fiberglass. Unfortunately, they may not be able to do anything if you've put oil or silicone on the wing - the stuff soaks in, and is close to impossible to remove when refinishing...

If you're anywhere near Southampton/Fareham try this guy, Marcus 07818435208. He does nothing but carbon fibre. He re-laquered my wing and it looks as good as new. The only trouble is that if you have been smothering the wing with oil and silicone based stuff he may not be able to do it as this stops the laquer from binding, as mentioned in a previous post.

I believe that you could get the wing sprayed body colour for less than £275, then get the end plates wrapped or buy carbon one.

Thats what I will be doing at some point.

It also depends how bad the resin has faded, i have managed to flat, then polish, and then laquer some up before and look very good after. i wasnt so lucky with my own though so i painted it the same colour as my wheels and front splitter. pm me if you want any more info or a price on painting.
