Minichamps do a white & Green Mk2 RS. They come in black boxes or grey 'Ford' ones from a dealer. The white one is a lot more expensive. Their only 1/43. Not seen any different scales yet. It is still a bit eairly as its still only a new car out.

Yep, just Minichamps, 1:43 at the moment. I've got the white, green & the ultra rare Nuremburg toy fair minichamps RS! Blue one is due out in june or july & the RS500 nearer end of the year. Both on order!
Superb detail on these models! biggrin

I can only echo this. Great work by Minichamps. I also have the white model. Not a bad investment either since this model now commands £60+

Yep, def a great investment! Saw one go for £101 on e-bay!!!
The only detail they did miss was the black lip on the front of the bonnet that they left body colour!

The only trouble with these modern models with such high detail, in my opinion, is that they look like they've just been dipped in paint and all that crispness of detail is lost. Just look at the area of the fuel filler cap and the contours of the front wing, it's almost like a jelly mould now. It's something that really annoys me about these models, they take the time to produce a fantastic casting but their paint techniques have not developed as they should for models of this price point.

Sorry, personal hobby horse!

White, you may be lucky on e-bay but as already said, be prepared to pay top money!
Green is available for RRP money on e-bay also, £26.99.
Think you may struggle to find in shops now, you could try

I have pre-ordered my blue one & RS500 from them. biggrin

Very true. But resin manafacturers like Spark & Neo keep all available detail.

But again price is higher.

If you'd seen the thickness of paint I've just stripped from a Spark model and the extra detail thus revealed, you'd never buy a factory finished resin model again either. It really is shocking and it's not scale dependent either, 1:18th are just as bad.

What was it? My TVR Speed 12 , Supervans and Gumpert Apollo are all spot on. I have no issues with the paint. Same goes for my Neo Audi's.

Couple of Mini Clubmans that suddenly developed shut lines when stripped, a few other road cars that again rediscovered a crispness to shut lines etc. They're full of filler as well, which is mightily annoying.

Apologies for taking it off topic, OP.
