Help with golf clubs?
Discussion
My grandpops recently departed, and I have been left numerous items, bless his heart.
Now some of it I will never use, and with this in mind and the fact he told me whatever I can't use I should sell to get me some pocket money, I'm doing just that.
I don't and doubt I ever will play golf so I'll start with his set of clubs. Trouble is I know diddly about golf.
His set belonged to him for a good 25 years I believe, something to bare in mind.
There is a Aldridge England 2wood, 3-9 +SW Ping eye2 irons (black dot/spot)and a Wilson Staff putter 8843. There are I few others, but these are the ones I remember after looking a little while ago.
I was going to carboot a load of stuff tomorrow, and was going to take these. I did a little searching on ebay for an idea on price, but this just made things even more confusing
Can anyone help?

The Ping eye2 Irons you have are the most valuable thing there.
Try a website called golf bidder. They buy second hand golf clubs and they will have a full appreciation of the value. They obviously sell it on for a margin but its better that taking them to a car boot sale blind and some one tries to nick them.
My advice would be, get a quote off golf bidder i think its valid for a week or so then go to the car boot and set that figure as a reserve. If you get more then great, take the cash, if not box them up when you get home and send them to golf bidder and take their money.
Hope that helps.
