Having trouble getting an air filter that fits, 80mm seems to be an odd size, what are you jag afm users using?

I used the one from my original AFM, swapped the relevant mounting bits over.

Using ITG myself though I am not sure as to the heritage of my AFM (it is bored out at the plenum). Car not here to check the size (hotwire).

Beware though, my filter is not located where the normal place is so may not be suitable for you. Check dimensions etc first.

As Ian says swap thw mounting plate over, or go on K&N home page there is a table with all the dimensions of the filters on there.

K&N have a massive list of filters and sizes, they even list approx max BHP they will flow.

Yeah i had a look at the k&n website but couldn't find a filter that would fit beacuse my car has aircon. The alternator sits on the nearside restricting the amount of space for a filter. Might have to junk the aircon (doesn't work very well anyway) and move the alternator to the drivers side if i can find the correct bracketry.

Interesting setup completely different to mine, my air filter/afm is nestled next to the alternator itself. Are the holes in the wing a cold air feed? Where is the intake for the feed?

Yes the wing is hollow and there are slots at the bottom of the front spoiler - a SEAC design only I think - which allow air into the wing and out of the holes by the filter. This was how TVR made the car. There also the slots in the bonnet which allow air directly into the area around the filter, so no problems with air feed.
