Last minute holiday switch has left us holding about 500EUR which I can't now change commission-free at the post office. What's going to stitch us up less, changing EUR to CZK at the airport, or doing it when we get to Prague ?

The Czech Republic is in the Euro....is it not? Spend your Euros there, or have I misunderstood?

Plenty of cash machines that will take UK cards at the airport and in the city. Many places will take Euros as a second currenry, watch the rates being offered though.

Enjoy. Oh and try the honey cake at the airport near gate 3/4 on the way back.
