Got an NIP, caught doing 36mph a 30mph, I'm going to try for the old "no sign" routine, but have asked to see the photo as "I can't remember who was driving" and I belive the photo was taken from the back of the car.

Has anyone successfully gone down the "not signing" route - especially if it was with Warwickshire Police?

Cheers

Yes,

Wife was caught doing 58 in a 50 on the A45. We sent it back unsigned. They sent the usual letter outlining broomfield etc and another NIP to fill in.

Just ignored it and heard nothing since - that was 8 months ago

Think you'll find that Warwicks will only allow you to see the photo by attending FP office in person. The office is only open limited hours weekday mornings, perhaps not even all weekdays, I forget sorry.

If you can't attend they can be persuaded to send a phot, but the quality of the print you will get is total carp and bears no relation to the clarity or otherwise of the original.

Hope that helps,

FiF

That's wrong they sent me a picture, no problemo. I framed it and it's on my office wall! Nobody can ID the driver as the sun visor is down.

Just ask nicely and say you need it to ID the driver.

Must have changed stance then, and the photos (plural) I've seen from there were indeed total carp.
