Spire sportscars

Anyone have any experience with building or running one of these? I had a good look at them at Stoneleigh and liked what I saw, so considering one as my next project.

They can certainly be made to circulate a race track very fast!

I suggest you contact MarlboroCar for the lowdown.

I've looked at them at the AutoSport show and they do look like a nice bit of kit. I'd have thought that the ZX1400 would have been the engine of choice but the manufacturer differs.

I had my car at the show on the owners club stand so you may have seen it. If you need any advice just let me know. The Spire Owners Club website (www.spireoc.co.uk)also has lots of info. It is a great car to drive on the track and even on the road. The build is also fairly straight forward as the access is briliant with the bodywork off
