Reported in the "Sun"! by John Troup!

A man who helps put up speed cameras was caught breaking the speed limit three times in one single journey.

Gutted Darren A. (28) was hit with a two week ban after the triple whammy in the space of just three hours

He was driving home from Brighton when a cop pulled him over for speeding on a built up area.

Undaunted Darren set off again - and was flashed by PC Gatso .

Then six miles from home in St Neots, Cambs, he got zapped by a talivan.

He already had three points for a previous speeding offence when he set out for work that morning. By the time he clocked off he had TWELVE!

JPs in Hingtingdon gave him an automatic ban and a £200 fine. In addition, he had to pay £40 for each of the speeding offences? (Ooh! staff discount! )

Darren said: "I work for a firm which links power cables to speed cameras. The lads at work have been crucifying me since this happened!"

Should feel sorry for one who has been fleeced but... cannot! (Well- he's a traitor-- ain't he?)

Poetic justice!!

Two ban eh? Well - he's got to get to work on those there power cables to earn some dosh for his bosses!

sucks for him! the sad thing though is that, while we find it funny, this guy has lost his license for no real reason. while mary et al would no doubt faint in terror at the thought of a 'maniac' capable of losing his licence in one day, no kittens and/or children and/or (insert vulnerable group here) were harmed in his driving that day. nothing in the article suggests he was behaving in a dangerous manner. indeed, it seems he was just a guy doing his job and he got penalised for it.

I know! I know this! I should feel really sorry for him! But he does lay the cables!

I know! Someone has to do it! And for him- it puts food on the table and feeds the kittens! But.... this is.. war!!

His paymasters take no prisoners! Show no mercy!

Of course, if he now starts sabotaging them!

What a strange name - "Gutted Darren A." - a relative of "Ali G." perhaps? Or is "gutting" an additiona punishment for scamera-man when convicted of speeding?

Um -the 2 million or so "innocent" copped by scammers and his paymasters who have not committed "treason" may think so! I cannot possibly comment

But you know the "Sun"'s reporting!

I know! Should not have such strange uncharacteristic feelings of "Schadenfreude!" Should feel nowt but sympathy for a fellow motorist copped in this brutal and unfair way, etc!

But then - those who live by the sword....

And we did not start the "war!"
