I am going to have a guess and say its the load resister for your dim dipped beams.

When you turn your sidelights on, do the headlights pop up with the headlights lit dimmly?

it's a bomb. if you go over 112 mph it arms, and it will blow if you drop below again. after the mess this created, the Japanese decided to just fit speed limiters instead

I have this device too, although my headlights don't pop up dimly when I'm running sides. Been baffled by this thing for ages.

I am 99% certain that you can pull a relay to stop the headlights popping up when side lights are turned on.

I've been trying to stop mine popping up with sides on too, pulling relays didn't do anything besides stop them popping up at all
