Does anyone have one of the above mentioned cars? I was
test driving an 03 plate one last night but I'm not very clued up on them and was looking for some help. It had a prodrive exhaust and blur prodrive silicone hoses in the engine bay but other than that was completely standard. Even better if you have one and are in Aberdeen could I come and see it maybe? Any help much appreciated.

Jason, I don't have one and am not in Scotland, but did have one back in 2004.

If I can help in anyway with your questions, please let me know.

No problems at all with it. The only thing I didn't like about the car was the notchy gearbox, but it was afterall a 4 wheel drive so not uncommon.

In terms of the servicing and belts I would recommend you join up on Scoobynet. They certainly a really good bunch on that site and I am sure would be a great help to you.

I had a 2003 WRX (not an SL though). Service intervals are every 10K. I would also suggest you look at the Scottish section of SIDC (http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showforum=11) and there is also an aberdeenscoobies website too.

The only problem I had with mine in just over 3yrs ownership was a knackered battery.

Thats great news guys as i put a deposit on it at 4pm!
Going to take about 2 weeks til i pick it up, as it has a fault light up and the dealer is waiting for the private plate to be taken off and put back on its original reg.
So scoobynet and aberdeen scoobies are the better forums then? Any others worth a look?
Cheers

Sidc! As mentioned above!

Scobynet is probably a busier forum, but the Scottish section of SIDC is better for Scottish banter, local knowledge, meets, runs etc.
